Job opportunities and economic growth have lured people from across the nation to India’s Silicon Valley. With diverse culture our taste buds are diversified and the penchant for some authentic North Indian food is growing. It is quite common to spot North Indian restaurants and food corners but they rarely serve authentic food even though most of them proclaim that they provide authentic food.
I can clearly say Baba Chatkora is an exception. After a successful run at BTM, Baba Chatkora is now open at another hotspot in the city @ Jayanagar South End Circle next to New Shanthi Sagar.
Can you spot Baba ?
What they serve?
They have a simple, straight vegetarian menu that boasts of Amritsari Kulchas, Chaaps, thali and lassi’s. I wouldn’t be lying if I say their Matka lassi is something to crave for. Their Chaaps are much talked about. Kulcha’s are fairly good. Thali worth the money. You can order online and their packaging is satisfying. They also cater upon request.
Owned by few bearded, passionate youngsters this new place is done up according to their tastes. With music in the background and relaxed atmosphere you might get the feeling of a being in a pub rather than restaurant/eatery joint. This new place is slightly bigger than the BTM joint with comfortable seating and boost a private seating for larger crowd. Be it your corporate meetups, family get together or a friends treat they have a place for your needs. They embrace Baba, love their music and believe in making this place a truly delectable delight and the next BIG thing!!!
