When I got an invite from TGI Kairos Resort to visit their property in Yelagiri, I absolutely had no reason to decline it. Wonder why? Firstly because it was a hill station just 160 kilometers from Bangalore and then I was getting to stay in one of the best resorts there. Yes, you can say I was lucky.
The Serai Resorts holds a special place in my heart. It is at The Serai Chikmagalur that I got married to my long time beau. Given a chance to be part of Experiential Bloggers Retreat organized by Skreem in association with The Serai , I acknowledged the invite immediately. It was a three days retreat at The Serai kabini resort accompanied by bloggers from all over India.
Lets be honest. Vacations don’t come for free and are going to cost you. It might be a luxury splurge but don’t hesitate to take that step forward. If you ask about my memories of childhood, it would be of those trips my dad took me across South India. And one day, I would want my kids to reminisce special memories of our family vacations when they look back on their childhood days.
